Advanced Community Pharmacy Practice Residency

​

The advanced community pharmacy practice residency is a post-graduate second year (PGY2) residency program offered by the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy in joint collaboration with Pacific Pharmacy Group.

​

The 12-month program, primarily based at Newport Lido Pharmacy in Newport Beach, is designed to lead the resident through a variety of longitudinal experiences related to practicing and managing in an independent pharmacy practice setting, and in a specialty pharmacy practice setting. During the PGY2 year, the resident interacts with the CEO, pharmacy director, assistant directors, and pharmacy coordinators to learn skills surrounding project management, human resource management, business proposals, and management of the pharmacy enterprise.
